Our mission is to enrich lives by providing quality programs and facilities that connect people with nature and each other. Pathfinder Ranch was created in 1964 to provide the children of Palm Springs with an opportunity to recreate and learn while escaping the summer heat. In the years since, the camp has grown to offer year-round programming to all children of the Coachella Valley, including summer camp and outdoor education programs. Children ages 7-17 can participate in activities such as: Archaeology, Arts & Crafts, Archery, Astronomy, Canoeing, Challenge Course, Climbing, Ecology, Geology, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Primitive Skills, Team Building, Sports, Wildlife Study, and more. Through participation, campers develop new friendships, social skills, independence, self-confidence, knowledge of environmental sciences, and an appreciation for the natural world. Each donation received through CV Giving Day will directly impact the youth of the Coachella Valley.
