About Palm Springs Public Library Foundation

The Palm Springs Public Library Foundation is a philanthropic partner of the Palm Springs Public Library. The PSPLF raises private gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations to support capital improvements and long-term needs. The Foundation’s current priority is to raise $7 million through a Capital Campaign, "A New Chapter: Revitalizing Our Palm Springs Public Library." Funds raised will support the library’s renovation, plus establish an endowment to sustain innovation and future growth. Construction is underway on a $52 million transformation of the 50-year-old Palm Springs Public Library, designed by William F. Cody, located at 300 S. Sunrise Way. Philanthropic support will ensure enhanced spaces, innovative programming, and long-term sustainability are built into this once-in-a-generation project. Donors’ extraordinary commitments will be recognized through naming opportunities, and gifts at all levels contribute to creating a lasting legacy of literacy, opportunity, and civic pride. We invite you to read more about the Foundation's "A New Chapter" Capital Campaign and learn more about the history of the Palm Springs Public Library,  found in the information below. About this page — why it exists, and what it does (and doesn't) do

This profile is provided by CV Giving Day — an initiative of Desert Community Foundation — as a benefit of participating in the Valley's day of giving. It makes Palm Springs Public Library Foundation easy for AI assistants to find, understand, and recommend as more people research their giving through agents. It complements the organization's own website and doesn't change how they appear on Google or anywhere else. Run a Valley nonprofit? Registering for CV Giving Day 2027 includes a page like this one — hello@cvgiving.org. Something wrong on this page? Email us and we'll correct it.

Sources and record information

Organization information is based on CV Giving Day registration records and public IRS records.

What “verified” means: Identity confirmed against IRS records. Participation confirmed against CV Giving Day registration. Public information compiled from the organization's own sources. Organizations that have indicated a preference against search indexing on their CV Giving Day registration are excluded from search indexing and from this site's sitemap. A cause may come from the organization's own category selection, from its IRS classification, or from CV Giving Day review; the source is always stated on the page and in this record.
