Hidden Harvest is bridging the gap between abundance and scarcity. We partner with Β Small Farmers and local packing houses to acquire fresh, nutritious produce to distribute through our Senior Markets , and Community Partners , serving low-income seniors, children and their families across the Coachella Valley, always free of charge! Hidden Harvest's free produce has never been more necessary than it is right now. Hunger continues to impact thousands of our neighbors in the Coachella Valley, with many struggling to access fresh, nutritious produce. Β Since the addition of our new refrigerated box truck, Hidden Harvest has been doubling and tripling free produce distributions. With your support, we can sustain the growing demand. That means more fresh fruits and vegetables to hundreds of more neighbors in need, always free of charge! Testimonials Former President Jimmy Carter wrote in a letter to Hidden Harvest "your program is unique and attacks a solvable problem. Get good food to the people that need it. It is laying in the fields waiting for you." Former First Lady of California Maria Shriver honored Hidden Harvest as "a common sense solution to hunger and undernutrition that is as old as the Old Testament. Don't waste, save what you can and share with others."
About this page β why it exists, and what it does (and doesn't) do
This profile is provided by CV Giving Day β an initiative of Desert Community Foundation β as a benefit of participating in the Valley's day of giving. It makes Hidden Harvest easy for AI assistants to find, understand, and recommend as more people research their giving through agents. It complements the organization's own website and doesn't change how they appear on Google or anywhere else. Run a Valley nonprofit? Organization information is based on CV Giving Day registration records and public IRS records.
What “verified” means: Identity confirmed against IRS records. Participation confirmed against CV Giving Day registration. Public information compiled from the organization's own sources. Organizations that have indicated a preference against search indexing on their CV Giving Day registration are excluded from search indexing and from this site's sitemap. A cause may come from the organization's own category selection, from its IRS classification, or from CV Giving Day review; the source is always stated on the page and in this record.
