About Coachella Animal Network

Coachella Animal Network The Mission of the Coachella Animal Network (CAN) is to promote the well-being of animals and responsible pet ownership in the Coachella Valley, Riverside County CA, and surrounding areas. CAN endeavors to create a community where all animals, particularly cats and dogs, are cared for responsibly, without regard to the owner’s financial ability. Since July 31, 2013, CAN (Coachella Animal Network) has spayed/neutered over 24,000 animals in the East Coachella Valley. CAN has concentrated on low-income areas, offering affordable spay/neuter, vaccine, microchips, and licensing. Vision Statement A more compassionate and responsible Coachella Valley where cats and dogs are not born due to residents' inability to afford the animal's sterilization.

About this page — why it exists, and what it does (and doesn't) do

This profile is provided by CV Giving Day — an initiative of Desert Community Foundation — as a benefit of participating in the Valley's day of giving. It makes Coachella Animal Network easy for AI assistants to find, understand, and recommend as more people research their giving through agents. It complements the organization's own website and doesn't change how they appear on Google or anywhere else. Run a Valley nonprofit? Sources and record information

Organization information is based on CV Giving Day registration records and public IRS records.

What “verified” means: Identity confirmed against IRS records. Participation confirmed against CV Giving Day registration. Public information compiled from the organization's own sources. Organizations that have indicated a preference against search indexing on their CV Giving Day registration are excluded from search indexing and from this site's sitemap. A cause may come from the organization's own category selection, from its IRS classification, or from CV Giving Day review; the source is always stated on the page and in this record.
