About Chabad of Rancho Mirage

The Coachella Valley is one of the largest, most prominent and diverse retirement and up-and-coming Jewish communities in the US. With a variety of innovative programs, Chabad of Rancho Mirage succeeds in reaching thousands of Jewish men, women and children from various backgrounds, helping promote a stronger Jewish sense of identity throughout the year, with meaningful yet fun and engaging activities - open to all. Chabad's voluntary after-school programs are crucial for teenagers and preteens, providing an ย  enriching environment where they can feel safe, enhance social skills, and build self-confidence. These programs foster personal growth, reduce risky behavior, and empower youth - at their most vulnerable stage - to become well-rounded, responsible members of society. CTeen creates a unique venue for Jewish teens to come together in an exciting environment and experience Judaism in a highly personal and relevant way. The comradeship, confidence, and sense of belonging that the teens develop is life-changing for the teens, and their revitalized enthusiasm for Jewish leadership creates a beautiful ripple effect to their families and communities, as the desert community has experienced firsthand. Testimonials I have two teenage son's who became involved with our local Cteen program here in the Coachella valley for the first time. I cannot stress how vital this program is for all teens here in the desert. Education and positive experiences are invaluable for any teen. They are active in the high school and have brought their classmates of all denominations to attend the Cteen program during lunch time this last school year. - Teen Mom, Lisa C.
