Our mission is "to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens." To fulfill our mission, our primary focus is on providing academic success, healthy lifestyles, and building good character and citizenship. The best way to predict the future is to create it. ~ Alan Kay The Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City's mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Club has been an active community partner in Cathedral City and the entire Coachella Valley since 1980, serving youth ages 6 to 18 in after-school and summer programs. The Club is diligent in maintaining impactful and current programs, reflecting and responding to the needs of the youth we serve. For 45 years, BGCCC has been a beacon of hope for the Coachella Valley's youth and teen populations. With 600 annual members and an additional 2,100 children served through outreach programs, our impact is undeniable. In 2023, we were thrilled to report a membership growth of over 33% and a 26% increase in our Average Daily Attendance. At the BGCCC, we provide a safe place for our members to call "home." We provide them with caring mentors and youth development programs emphasizing healthy lifestyles, character, good citizenship, academic success and career preparedness.
