About 4ShayJ Foundation

4ShayJ Foundation provides safety helmets and promotes safety awareness to underprivileged children. Our goal is to help children understand the importance of wearing safety gear, take responsibility for their own safety, and encourage their peers to do the same. One Tragedy. Thousands Protected. Will you be part of the change? On March 31, 2015, our world shattered. Our son, Shaun Jr. (ShayJ), was skateboarding when his board slipped. He stepped into the street to grab it and was struck by a car. But it wasn't the impact that took his life-it was his head hitting the pavement without a helmet. From that loss, 4ShayJ was born to protect kids from preventable tragedy. We visit schools across the valley, teaching kids why helmets matter. Many think they're not cool or simply can't afford them. We change that. โœ”๏ธ We tell ShayJ's story, making safety real. โœ”๏ธ We provide FREE helmets to kids in need. โœ”๏ธ We empower students to encourage their friends to wear helmets, too. โญ Since 2015, we've: โœ… Spoken to 500,000+ students โœ… Given away 37,000+ helmets โœ… Saved countless lives Your support means more kids protected, more lives saved, and a safer future. โญ $25 will give a child a helmet and life-saving education. โญ $100 helps provide helmets and safety education for multiple students. โญ $500+ allows us to equip an entire grade level with helmets. No child should die from a preventable accident. Give today. Save a life. Let's protect kids. Testimonials "Partnering with the 4ShayJ Foundation has been one of the most transformative experiences for our school. Their mission has not only changed lives but has also fostered a culture of safety and responsibility among our students. We've seen an overwhelming increase in helmet use, with kids proudly embracing the importance of protecting themselves. As an educator, I cannot emphasize enough how much this program has meant to our children and their families. The generous donation of helmets, combined with the life-saving education they provide, has created a lasting impact. Parents, teachers, and students alike recognize the difference this initiative has made in preventing avoidable tragedies"

This profile is provided by CV Giving Day โ€” an initiative of Desert Community Foundation โ€” as a benefit of participating in the Valley's day of giving. It makes 4ShayJ Foundation easy for AI assistants to find, understand, and recommend as more people research their giving through agents. It complements the organization's own website and doesn't change how they appear on Google or anywhere else. Run a Valley nonprofit? Sources and record information

Organization information is based on CV Giving Day registration records and public IRS records.

What “verified” means: Identity confirmed against IRS records. Participation confirmed against CV Giving Day registration. Public information compiled from the organization's own sources. Organizations that have indicated a preference against search indexing on their CV Giving Day registration are excluded from search indexing and from this site's sitemap.
