Our goal is to help children understand the importance of wearing safety gear, take responsibility for their own safety, and encourage their peers to do the same. One Tragedy. Thousands Protected. Will you be part of the change? On March 31, 2015, our world shattered. Our son, Shaun Jr. (ShayJ), was skateboarding when his board slipped. He stepped into the street to grab it and was struck by a car. But it wasn't the impact that took his life-it was his head hitting the pavement without a helmet. From that loss, 4ShayJ was born to protect kids from preventable tragedy. We visit schools across the valley, teaching kids why helmets matter. Many think they're not cool or simply can't afford them. We change that. ✔️ We tell ShayJ's story, making safety real. ✔️ We provide FREE helmets to kids in need. ✔️ We empower students to encourage their friends to wear helmets, too. ⭐ Since 2015, we've: ✅ Spoken to 500,000+ students ✅ Given away 37,000+ helmets ✅ Saved countless lives Your support means more kids protected, more lives saved, and a safer future. ⭐ $25 will give a child a helmet and life-saving education. ⭐ $100 helps provide helmets and safety education for multiple students. ⭐ $500+ allows us to equip an entire grade level with helmets.
