Our goal is to ensure these essential resources are accessible to individuals and families who are underserved and marginalized, helping to break cycles of intergenerational poverty, addiction, and violence.\nSince 2018, The Exception has served communities throughout Riverside County, with a strong focus on people of color in historically underserved areas. Through mentorship, case management, and trusted community partnerships, we deliver a wrap-around support model that meets participants where they are. Each year, we support more than 100 individuals in building stability, resilience, and pathways toward long-term success.\nBy investing in whole-person wellness and community-driven solutions, The Exception is committed to creating lasting change and reducing systemic poverty and violence across the Coachella Valley and beyond.\nYour support during Coachella Valley Giving Day helps ensure our programs remain free and accessible to those who need them most.",
