## About Coachella Valley History Museum

The mission of the Coachella, Valley Historical Society, Inc. is to preserve interpret, and share the artifacts to create a dialogue about the evolving history of the Coachella Valley. Coachella Valley History Museum is the best way to learn about the history of our beautiful valley. With our rich collection of exhibits, you can learn all about the people places and times that I've made the Coachella Valley the epicenter of so much in Southern California history, resulting in a rich, entertaining and educational, museum experience for adults and kids like.. Our after school programs are a unique experience for students into a world before "digital" became the center of everything. Our beautiful, 1909 schoolhouse along with our 1926 Adobe home allow us to take a trip into the past in a way that greatly exceeds what images can provide.
Testimonials
Five star yelp review December 13, 2022

"This is a must see if you were in the area. The museum is much larger than you. It is an intimate unsophisticated view of past life in the region. It has small but interesting exhibits of Native American life, Mexican culture, the history of agriculture and exploitation of water resources a wonderful slice of life 1920 - 1930s kitchen crammed with artifacts some of us still remember. There is an original school house is charming and quirky date museum. We easily spent an enjoyable and informative hour and a half here. It is worth the trip!"
