We house, feed & water, socialize, and provide medical care for these animals until we match them with their new humans and new forever homes. Adopt one today!\n\nWe provide quality, affordable full-service standard veterinary care from our medical facilities in Indio and Thousand Palms. We offer financial aid for qualifying low-income pet owners.\n\nWe provide state-accredited, grade-appropriate humane education to all our Desert schools, at no cost to students or schools.\n\nOur Animal Companion Therapy program utilizes the healing power of animal-human connection and provides free animal visits to residents of area nursing homes and assisted living facilities, special needs facilities, and area hospitals.\nTestimonials\n\"I volunteer with the ACT program because I have seen the joy it brings to elderly residents in Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Memory Care. The hearts of the volunteers are huge; offering a temporary home to give these animals a place to grow, thrive, and receive love.
